I took the plunge today and I purchased the hippoVEND set so that I can distribute affiliate vendors. At first, I felt a bit sick reading all of the note cards. It seemed like a lot of information and I was afraid I’d spent a lot of money on something I wasn’t going to be able to understand. But it surprised me and I’m pretty sure I’ve got it all worked out.

For those seeking information on how you can affiliate Jolly Farm….

In the vendor box, you will find several different catalog vendors. All of them feature the same products but allow for different sizes and prim count based on your needs. Please feel free to rez out whichever you are most comfortable with.

There is never any need to purchase my vendors again as the products are stored on a state of the art hippoVEND server. That means when I add new products, your vendor will automatically add them too!

I care about my affiliate vendors and that is why I offer a 30% profit cut. That means you earn 30% of EVERY sale you make! The best part? The affiliate vendor package is free and will always be free. I want you to want to sell my high quality items so why would I ever charge you!?

–Instructions–

1. Rez the affiliate board of your choice.

2. You will then be prompted by a large, yellow-orange dialog box asking you to grant the board permission to distribute Lindens from your account.

3. Grant the board permission. Doing so means that the customer pays your account the full amount for the product, and then your account will then distribute my cut to me.

4. Moving the vendor board will make it show temporarily offline. Give it a few minutes and it’ll turn back on!
