Bittersweet Happenings at Jolly Farm

As one door closes, two doors open. Or in my case… as one bunny retires, two hop in to take its place! On February 13th, I took a fateful trip to the Ozimal’s store where I would purchase the Male / Female starter package and thus “Paige” and “Raisin” were born – sucking me into the world of breedable pets and causing one hell of an addiction.

Paige Retires

Today, Paige dropped her final nest and rose to Elder status as a Superlative Elder of Vitality – offering her surrounding and hard humping bunny friends 1% to their energy stats. Her final contribution? A Havana – Broken Black with Light Blue eyes, lop ears in classic shade. Okay, nothing earth shattering but a pretty bunny nevertheless. I tried for an elite with Paige’s last 3 nests – to no avail.

Paige retires to the corner of the mini barn, much to the displeasure of Charlie – her partner for the last 12 nests. Paige’s original partner Raisin who has 3 gens left is currently partnered with Geneth who has 6 gens. Geneth and Raisin will remain partnered for the remainder of Raisin’s gens at which time Geneth will partner up with Charlie until they are both retired. Complicated? Yes. Dirty? Quite Possibly.

New Life

Welcome the newest (haha I originally typed ‘addiction’ here) addition to the Jolly Farm family – Cinders and Emberly. These two gorgeous bunnies come from the most reputable source I know… my business partner, Lassarina! These 2 bunnies come from 2 different different parent sets although all are Havana Black.

They make such a cute pair and I’m excited to work with a pair of Havana Blacks. I love the way every eye color looks with them. They’re definitely my favorite fur and they’re quickly growing in popularity since the fur was retired from starter nests. I’m hoping to get a few with gem eyes. <3 I have not decided what will come to replace Raisin and Geneth in the breeding circle.

My First Mutant!

For those reading who have no idea, mutations are possible with Ozimal bunnies provided that you breed a sibling pair (brother/sister). It’s rare, but it happens. The mutation can be anything from the fur being a different color on the tail than the hovertext suggests or even having a body that doesn’t match the head. Thanks to Charleigh and Cornelius, my sibling duo…. I have my first mutant pictured at left!

As you can see, Havutchana (named for her Havana/Dutch parents) has a white, dutch foot! I was hoping for a Dutch Amber ear, but I suppose this will do. There’s always next time, right?
