I’ve stared blankly at the empty New Post page for several minutes now. I feel the need to write because it’s what calms me… but I have trouble finding the appropriate words. In short, Xavion and I just ended our… geez, I guess you could say our almost 4 month Second Life relationship (although we were only officially partnered for a fraction of that time). The Ozimals Strawberry Festival started yesterday and lasts through July 11th. It’s a great opportunity for the Ozimals community to come together. The festival brings the possibility of kindling Strawberry Elite bunnies on all 1.3 nests for the duration of the festival. Two very kind people donated Strawberry Elites to me. I gave one to my SLister Aponi and kept one for myself. Then I kindled my very own. Here’s a picture of me with Stroberi (Male – Left) and Strauberi (Female – Right) at Jolly Farm yesterday!... Wow what a week! The Jolly Farm expansion has been absolutely brilliant. I’m finally happy with my setup and it’s easier than ever to organize stuff – which means it’s been easy to direct customers to my products. Has it really been a week since I posted? Time truly flies. Fear not, for I do come with a substantial post full of good news, changes and oh yes… even pictures! In early March, I became interested in Ozimal bunnies. I had no idea I’d ever get so into it that I’d create an entire business based on them, but hey… I’m glad I did. It started with a couple of starter bunnies that I bred just for fun and to see what I would get. I soon found myself selling bunnies left and right to other people new to the Ozimal community and thus, Jolly Farm Bunnies & Stuff was born! I discovered last night just how shady people can be on Second Life – especially if they feel in the slightest bit betrayed because things didn’t go their way and they don’t get what they want and think that they deserve. I apologize in advance for the long, drama-filled post. Jolly Farm is surrounded by clubs right now. I can’t even begin to describe how relieved I am to be through the commotion involving The Nook. Don’t get me wrong… I’m very sad that Xavion and I needed to put the project on hold. But I’m glad that we were at least successful in selling the parcel yesterday, gaining back some of the funds lost while keeping the parcel occupied and so I feel better now about the whole situation. I know I promised good news in this post but it requires a little bit of sad news first. More bunnies are retiring from Jolly Farm – in fact 2 retired yesterday and 3 more will retire today. As stated in other posts, this makes me sad. But it’s bittersweet really… because it makes room for new bunnies for you all to get to know and love. It means stronger breeding lines, better pedigrees and more rare fur and eyes being sold by me. As bunnies retire by breeding out their final generations, they ascend to Superlative Elder status.
