Yes, I’ve been flaky about posting again. I’ve been so busy – but at the same time, not. Yeah… I don’t really know how that works either. But it seems like every day flies by so fast and I seem to stay so busy and yet nothing gets accomplished.

Case in point – Tried to take a walk around Lionheart Estate yesterday with Xavion. Our 1st official monthiversary was on the 3rd and our time together was repeatedly interrupted… so the walk was supposed to be a sort of continuation of our time off of work so we could have time together. That didn’t much happen. Well, I mean I guess we spent time together but at the same time… more side tracking and interruptions.

Anyways… there’s not really anything worth its own post to discuss so I’m going to kind of do 1 post, 1 big update.

Jolly Farm

Things have been slow. Up, Down and all over the place. With the search function broken in Viewer 2, sales have been hard to come by. I’m trying to compensate for it by basically spamming Facebook, Twitter and 2ndHub as often as I can without being too annoying. It’s doing an okay job. So long as I can afford all of my land and I’m still having fun – that’s all that really matters.

I did get off my lazy butt earlier last week and I made a new item. It’s nothing earth shattering or particularly innovative. I mean… it’s not a bunny backpack or anything. :D

It’s a cute bunny hutch with a scripted door. You click it to open, click it to close. I’d not seen anyone do this – most hutches instead simply have an open door. It’s only 15 prim – so not too rough on one’s land. It’s also only 100L so it’s no rough on your pockets either! I have the White Bunny Hutch available for sale on XStreet, but you can get the other 3 colors – pink, blue and yellow at Jolly Farm.

The Nook

Sadly, I don’t have really anything to report. We’ve not even had applications at The Nook yet. In all fairness, land sales have been slow for everyone and so my best guess is that it’s also affecting The Nook. It’s a real shame too because I know deep down that it’s an incredible project that could really work for people if they tried it.

Trash

I haven’t done away with the parcel yet. June 1st came and I simply stuck another week on it until I figured out what I wanted to do with it. Xavion and I agreed on keeping it and instead, using the parcel as some sort of info hub for all of our projects. Not sure when we’ll get that done but… that’s the plan any ways.

Speaking of Projects

Working on a lot of projects with Xavion right now – some of which transcends into real life. A lot of websites. But more on that good stuff at a later date. But I promise… it’s awesome.

Other Stuff & General Annoyances

I’m starting to hate clubs. There are 3 surrounding Jolly Farm as I write this. And the part that gets me is that I haven’t even seen 2 of them get used at all. Why would you waste time and money by buying land and a club and then not ever using it? And then one of them is… well, it’s not exactly easy on the eyes. I don’t understand people basically building a box and slapping a tightly tiled marble texture on it and then tinting it red. Do people actually think that looks good? There should be a landowner’s committee to help people who are apparently decorating challenged.

In other news… I found out an ex friend of mine didn’t leave Second Life. They’re just hiding on a new account – and not well I might add. I felt so bad for them and I honestly felt guilty that they’d left. But it turns out they’ve been around all along. Whatever.
