Jolly Farm Expands… again!

Has it really been a week since I posted? Time truly flies. Fear not, for I do come with a substantial post full of good news, changes and oh yes… even pictures!

Jolly Farm is ever expanding and it’s very important to me that I stay on the cutting edge of what’s “hip” and new in the Ozimals Community. So it should be no surprise that with the Ozimals 1.3 update coming today June 22nd at 12:00 SLT, I’ve been running around like a crazy person as I try to reorganize my business and prepare. There will be all new pretty much everything and I’m very excited about it.

I bought Jolly Farm’s third parcel yesterday – the amazing parcel I’ve pined over since April. I know I spoke of the parcel before but for new readers, I’ll elaborate. When I first opened Jolly Farm, I had the one parcel – the one the majority of my barn actually sits on. There were 2 parcels to the left of me. One belonged to Xavion (which I’ve owned for quite some time now and purchased because I couldn’t have the 2nd parcel I really wanted) and the other belonged to some sort of group of international college people… or something like that (never really did understand what those people were doing). Several times this group’s tier has been due or almost due and I’ve sat on the edge of my seat… just waiting and hoping they didn’t make tier so Dirk could confiscate the land and I could have it. But alas, it just wasn’t my time I guess and I’ve waited months to have this parcel.

So yesterday, I waited patiently for Dirk to come clear the land so I could purchase the glorious parcel. In the mean time, I started construction of the the new wing at Jolly Farm. I’ve extended the building out to provide more room for live bunnies (which will probably piss off my club running neighbors and I just don’t care at this point). Dirk came by and did the dirty work and alas… I was able to purchase the highly coveted parcel. And once it was mine, I peed on it to mark my territory. No, just kidding. I did roll on it tho. The land.. not the pee.

I spent a total of 14 hours working on Jolly Farm yesterday

It’s kind of funny because that’s how long I spent working on Jolly Farm the day I set it up. The bigger irony is that I had all this extra prim and do you know what I did with it? I used it on grass… again. I can’t help it. The overall appearance of the parcel is very important to me and Jolly Garden is a big part of my business. And when I need the prim because I’m putting in a new product… I take out some grass and put the product in its place. Win-Win.

But grass and extra prim isn’t all that’s new. With Bunnyburry officially opening today, we’ve pulled old nests off the shelves that weren’t selling. Those nests have been kindled and are available for sale in live form until Bunnyburry opens today. We’ve left the good nests on the shelves… especially any nests with gem eyes (no matter how old it is). And then we took the shelves and reorganized them – giving is more room for nests, making it easier than ever for our customers to find what they’re looking for and to make way for the new breeds!

I was going to take lots of pictures… but as I took them, I realized that I couldn’t really capture the beauty of Jolly Farm in a snapshot. So here are a few pictures… you’ll need to experience the rest for yourself.
