In early March, I became interested in Ozimal bunnies. I had no idea I’d ever get so into it that I’d create an entire business based on them, but hey… I’m glad I did. It started with a couple of starter bunnies that I bred just for fun and to see what I would get. I soon found myself selling bunnies left and right to other people new to the Ozimal community and thus, Jolly Farm Bunnies & Stuff was born!
Unfortunately when you start, there’s no one to really explain to you all of the different types of bunnies or how rare they are. I bought bunnies I liked and what seemed rare and I just kind of paired whatever to whatever to see what I would get. I had no specific goals in mind. Breeding and Genetics? Pfft what was that? It was a couple of months before I really knew anything about how to pair bunnies to create stronger lineage or to try for specific traits I wanted in my bunnies.
With so many of my bunnies now retiring, it’s given me the opportunity to take my already profitable business as a bunny breeder and concentrate now on doing just that. I have acquired bunnies with good lineage to breed and have specific goals in mind. I’ve started an all new Genetic Spreadsheet that I’m hoping will be easier to read and understand.
Here I am with the new bunnies and introducing Victoria, the newest member of the Jolly Farm family to the rest of the warren.

Introducing…
Reeses & Snowcap
Reeses is a Harlequin Chocolate Orange that came to me via Lassarina’s breeding circle – The Gypsy’s Trove. He has Argent parents and will hopefully produce me some Argents.
Snowcap was a splurge purchase while I was shopping around. She’s a gorgeous Holland Lop White with striking dark blue eyes. I’ve always wanted one and I couldn’t resist the temptation to buy the nest when I saw it.

Patrick & Pearl
The Twins! These bunnies were bred at Jolly Farm. They are Havana Chocolates with dark blue eyes and half-a-lop ears. Their parents are Emberly and Cinders – my Havana Black duo bred from Lassarina’s farm. Patrick & Pearl’s grandparents are also Havana Black!
They’re mischievous little bunnies. Hopefully they will produce some Havana Black/Chocolate Mutant bunnies!

Coal & Soot
Coal is a Havana Black with Sapphire eyes and a beautiful, radiant coal who was adopted from Spikie Thorne’s farm The Carrot Patch. His parents are Wicca and Cerberus – two Havana Black bunnies with Sapphire eyes.
Soot is another Havana Black bred at Jolly Farm. She’s another offspring of Emberly and Cinders. Like Coal, she has the potential to produce gem eyes. She’s a pretty girl!

Contrast & Victoria
Probably my most interesting looking bunny, Contrast is an English Spot Black with Garnet eyes named for his colors of white, black and red. He has Castor parents and has the potential to produce them.
Victoria is the ultimate diva bunny and the newest addition at Jolly Farm. She’s a beautiful Castor with Turquoise eyes… that definitely set this Jolly Farmer back a pretty linden. She comes from a long line of Castors with Turquoise eyes and will hopefully produce many more to come!
