No much happened on my rez day. I did a good deal of sleeping on and off that day back in the real world and I just missed people it seems. It made it really hard for anyone to do anything for me… and just as hard for me to just gather my friends together to do something myself.

Lian (we’ll get to who Lian is later) swooped me up early morning and took me out for some fun. We went to this sort of fun house thing like you’d see at a carnival. We had a great time walking through it – lots of mazes, puzzles to figure out, etc. It was a really fun place… until it started to get kind of creepy. It went from being a silly fun-house to being a clown morgue (literally). But we had a blast as we tried to navigate ourselves through it, giggling as we cheated a few times. At the end, there was a fun place to snap a picture to show that we’d survived! You can kinda see what I mean about the creepy clowns.

Xavion caught up with me really late in the night – just before my rez day was going to end. He took me to a sim designed to reflect the look of Pandora from the movie Avatar. While we were roaming around, we found a display that sold Na’vi skins and shapes and decided to play along. Except this sort of started a big to-do and we ended up going all out… buying full costumes, hair and everything else. We took a picture (at left) using poses from a pack I’d bought earlier in the day to use to take a new picture with Aponi. It reminded me of the line “I See You” and I thought it would make for a beautiful picture. And I was right. I love this picture and it’s gotten a ton of views on Flickr.

Thursday afternoon, Aponi tells me she’s taking me somewhere “tomorrow at 9pm”. So I waited all day Friday, wondering where on earth (errr grid) she was taking me. I went back to the real world and had a nap so I would be good and awake since 9pm SL is midnight for me.

I logged into SL around 8:30SL and she told me to put on a dress… something simple, but dressy. I Did as instructed and when 9pm came around, she sent me a teleport and I landed at Sinful Moon… in the middle of my surprise rez-day party! Anubis was DJing of course and they had the whole place decked out in balloons, decorations and even a bunny rez-day cake! I wish I’d taken pictures but I was honestly concentrating on enjoying the evening.

Anubis and Aponi… You two have no idea how much I have appreciated your friendship. We’ve been friends most of the time I’ve been on Second Life and we’ve shared a lot of ups, downs, memories and even exchanged real life experiences. As far as friends go whether they be in real life or second… you’re the best that anyone could ever hope for. Thank you so much for being there for me and being my friend through everything.

To everyone who attended my rez-day party… Thank you so much for being there and making it so special. Some of you have known me for ages and others not. But it doesn’t matter… because you were all there to celebrate me and this milestone and I love you all for it. I hope y’all had as much fun last night as I did!
