Anubis posted me this link about 15 minutes ago. It’s a forum post by Jessica Lyons, one of the developers of Emerald who basically jumped ship during the “dramaz” to save face (which was the right thing to do).

Basically, she and the other good developers of Emerald got together and made a new viewer appropriately named “Phoenix” which is basically a Linden Lab compliant version of Emerald. I’ve downloaded it myself… I’m on it right now. So if you miss Emerald and you are looking to keep with it, go here to download Phoenix.
