It’s time for another “Shit I Did When I Wasn’t Here”. I know… already!? Time flies…

It’s been a busy week. Saturday I held my first CoC meeting and it went rather well I think. Then of course, there’s the “OMG DRAMAZZZZ” post that you should check out if you’re into that sort of thing. I know it’s been ages since there was any good drama involving this site.

We are so busy and it’s so awesome. I’ve lived here for 6 months and I have never seen us so… FULL! It’s such a great feeling knowing that when I get a sales call, I hardly have any parcels left to show people because they’re all rented out! Woohoo!

Dirk purchased Emerald Point – the old Emerald sim which will be moved and renamed sometime this week and will become apart of Lionheart history forever! Muahaha. No word on the opening date or what the sim will be called. Dirk likes to keep the name hush-hush until opening. He doesn’t even tell the staffies! But what we do know is that it will be zoned for Commercial II (meaning it’s for high traffic stuff like clubs and bunny farms.. haha) and unlike he other sims, it has quite a few interesting looking diagonal parcels. Not sure how hard those will be to sell. Jolly Farm actually has a diagonal parcel and I find it a challenge (the GOOD kind) to build on.

Over the weekend, an email went out from Linden Labs to a select user base with an advertisement for Ozimals. I heard it went out to Premium members but I’m still premium and I didn’t get one. *shrugs* It’s actually been very helpful for my sales… thank goodness. Sales have felt so slow lately… which has majorly sucked. Stupid SLMarketplace.

I decided to get rid of the events area. It’s not getting used… and it’s just wasting space and prims. So I turned it into a new wing of Jolly Market which will be for ALL breedable pets. There’s still the original wing of Jolly Market which is only for Ozimals bunnies. I’m not into ‘doing’ other breeds… but obviously a lot of other people are. I figure this will be a good chance for me to get acquainted with the other stuff.

Not really Jolly Farm related exactly… but I was amongst the group randomly selected to beta test the upcoming combined food for Ozimals. I kind of wish I’d been chosen for Social Bun. Being a web admin, I think I could have done some serious breakage and helped find bugs with the site. Oh well :/ I’m excited to help beta test the new food tho!
