Lionheart Estate Acquires old Emerald Sim

The lion’s out of the bag! Lionheart Virtual Real Estate has purchased the old Emerald sim “Emerald Point”. There’s already been plenty of buzz about it from Lionheart Staff on Twitter (@SookieSlafford and @BunnehKat) and good news seems to be traveling pretty fast through the grid!

So what’s in store for good ol’ Emerald Point?

For starters, it’s already been redesigned by Lionheart Estate Owner, @DirkKlees and is ready to take it’s place as a Commercial II zoned parcel on the estate’s contiguous continent – filling the gap between your’s truly’s home of Lionheart Scar and the adjacent Lionheart Kiara sim. Emerald Point will be renamed. If tradition is any indication, the sim will be named Lionheart [To be announced], but as always, the Big Lion is keeping the name a secret – even from his staff, until the grand unveiling!

This will mark Lionheart Estate’s 15th sim with available real estate and with it comes something sort of new for us. This new sim will feature a variety of diagonal parcels (as well as more traditional looking parcels). If you’ve visited Jolly Farm Bunnies & Stuff at Lionheart Scar, you’ve seen the diagonally cut parcel at the North-West where it meets the canal. The new sim’s canal (as seen in the picture at left) will be coNtinued through the sim, connecting to the canal already present at Scar which homes Lionheart’s venue “Under the Bridge”.

The diagonal parcels while they may be sort of challenge for builders, are definitely unique – something Lionheart always strides for. The look is fresh, much more realistic and appealing to the eye – unlike so many “cookie cutter” sims where all you get is a blank sim chopped up into little squares. The look definitely aids the flow, making it a pleasant place to explore and more importantly… shop! As an Account Executive (Sales Representative) of Lionheart Estate, I’m very excited and anxious to get started selling these commercial plots to residents.

And who could forget the railroads that give Lionheart Kiara it’s urban look? The railroad will also run through the new sim, connecting it to tracks at Kiara and maximizing the traffic flow. The trains really work!!! It’s one of the fun little extras that make Lionheart stand out. Whether it be by foot, train, boat, or even by flying you can make your way across the sim in style! The diagonal and yes… even curved roads make for an interesting look, sure to make exploring the sim fun for all.

Interested? You should be!

Lionheart is waiting for Linden Labs to move the sim into place. The sim is expected to be open and ready for land owners within the week. Parcels are on a first come, first serve basis, but you can follow @LionheartSL via Twitter and stay up to date so you know when the sim is ready!

  1. Horrah for Lionheart :) Only thing is that I can never find a train that works.. :( Then again, I only find the subway trains and they only go so far, stop and reverse back to the station..

  2. There are currently two trains operating, one at Lionheart Kiara and the other at Lionheart Pumbaa.
We’re still waiting for the creators of these trains to continue their work on the ability to cross sim borders. They on the other hand, are waiting for LL to fix some important related bugs so they can actually continue their own work. So i guess it will still take some time :(

  3. It’s all one big waiting game with Linden Labs. :( I can’t wait until we can use the trains across sim borders. In the mean time, they’re fun just as they are. :D

  4. @Dirk: Never expected a response here… :) Thanks for the info Dirk, and great work on the entire region!!

@Sookie: Indeed.. it will be nice..
