Oy… what a busy and crazy week it’s been. It’s not so much been Second Life that’s been exhausting, but.. blah just read on. It’s time for this week’s “Shit I Did When I Wasn’t Here” (actually, I’m late on it.. sorry!)

Lionheart

As I predicted, the staff has been super busy with selling parcels at the new sim, Lionheart Rafiki. For the most part, it’s been accepted with great enthusiasm. The diagonally cut parcels have been rather difficult to sell. It’s mostly due to people being so square-minded. And I don’t blame them… it is kind of hard to build on these parcels when you’re so used to square parcels and buildings.

I held another CoC meeting on Friday. There were a good number there despite the weekend festivities and Halloween parties – not to mention it was a Friday afternoon for many of us. The next meeting will be on November 13th to cover final instruction for Winter Carnival as well as for merchants interested in participating in the hunt to get the hunt tools from me.

Jolly Farm

I’ve been slipping a bit on my Jolly Farm duties. I’ve been feeling a bit down in the dumps and it’s been kind of hard to concentrate on my business. Fortunately, it hasn’t shown too much and sales are okay. Yeah, just okay. Tier is paid and I’ve cashed out here and there. So all in all, things are pretty steady.

Oziversary is around the corner and I haven’t made my gifts for the hunt yet. Ugh. I hate myself for it. I just can’t decide what to make and I keep thinking about all the work involved in order to make no money from it because of this computer. I’m not even sure what to make. There’s a variety of things I can do… just not sure which. I suppose tomorrow I need to buckle down and just do it.

Linden Labs removed my Marketplace listings for my free Ozimals starter kit. I’m not sure why. I went back and re-read the rules and am totally not amused. I made sure to be absolutely clear what the person was buying – which was far more than just some notecard and landmark. It actually includes the affiliate vendor set, information about Ozimals and some free gifts. I kind of gave LL the finger and I put it right back up.

2ndhub

Not much to talk about. Mason is working on setting up the Groups and some other neat coding guru type things. I’m so excited and impressed by the overall involvement of the 2h community. I mean… it’s not a social networking site if people aren’t socializing right? Everyone is so involved and having a good time. I love it! Naughty Tuesdays have been especially awesome.
