You may have seen hints dropped about a special project I was planning – especially if you’re a member of 2ndhub.com. I admit, I LOVE Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color challenge and was inspired to start my own – for myself, and for you too if you want to participate.

What is the challenge?
I’m proposing a 52-week challenge starting today! The challenge is about channeling your creativity and using a different prop every week in order to create a picture. For example, this week’s prop is an umbrella. The prop will be different every week and will be announced here on this blog. I encourage designers to get involved if they’d like to. I’d love to feature certain creators as my prop of the week!

Are there any rules?
There are no rules… except that you have to use this week’s prop in some way. Take a picture by yourself, with friends or maybe even a special someone. You don’t have to be holding the prop or even interacting with it. But the idea is to use it in the image in some way – preferably as an important part of the image. The prop should inspire the creation of the picture.

Where do I post my picture?
If you have a blog, you can of course post the image there and I’d LOVE it if you would post a comment here to show me your blog and the picture you took. If you don’t have a blog, you can also post the image to the Mad Props Flickr Group Pool.
