Today, it was brought to my attention that Truth Hawks (ya know, Truth… the God of Hair) had sent out a group winter gift featuring one of my favorite hairstyles – Kitty. My friend Alia sent me the promo picture and I instantly fell in love. Kitty… with a HAT! I immediately went to Truth, cursing myself that I was still not yet subscribed even tho I’ve been wearing Truth hair for ages. I joined the subscriber and received nothing upon joining.

I was quite upset. I was actually on the verge of being totally heartbroken and even planned to message Truth himself in order to beg and plead… well, this is what I’d written:

Dear Truth Hawks,

You probably get this a lot, but I would give you my soul in exchange for the amazing winter gift. I admittedly wasn’t in your subscriber group – and that’s my own terrible fault. I have pledged my allegiance to your hairdom. Please reward your subject with the gift of hair.

The God of hair must have heard my plea without me even sending him the note. It’s okay, he knows all. I realized I could check the subscriber’s history and receive the amazing winter gift. I hastily ran (okay, I teleported) home with the highly coveted box. I rezzed it, unpacked it and put on the hair.

A small, glistening tear quite literally welled in my eyes. I wish I were joking. I realize that’s kind of pathetic. I mean… it’s virtual hair. And then I found out that the hat has a color change script in it, plus it’s modifiable so you can tint it. It put me over the edge and I shed a tear. But seriously, I’m in love.

I’s also like to confess my adoration for Maitreya. It started with the Moxie shoes that everyone and their grandma also wears religiously. I actually started shopping around my shoes. I mean, that’s how it should be… right? Haha I can’t tell you how many outfits I’ve bought, simply so I could have an excuse to wear my Moxie shoes. But I can tell you how many times I’ve used them in pictures…

Yeeeaaaah. Overdone it? I think not!

I have continued my devotion to Maitreya by purchasing the amazing stand alone socks (the same socks featured in the Moxie shoes, but on their own). Oh yeah, I purchased ALL colors. It’s worth it. Okay, so it’s 980L$ for a pack of sculpted socks, but seriously… you get all colors PLUS the socks are scripted so you get the Flat, Tiptoe and Hidden foot versions all in one. They’re amazing and delicious… for socks that is.

Furthermore, I also found myself in total lust over her new Shearling Boots, which I purchased in black. Okay, I love my Moxies more, but seriously, these are gorgeous. They’re grunge. They’re sexy. They’re sex on your feet. The cool part? You can pair them with the socks as well!

My pledge, devotion and allegiance to Truth and Maitreya cannot be tarnished. Resistance is futile.
