Let’s start the new year at SookieSlafford.com with something a little more serious and business-y… shall we? Okay, let’s go!

As long as I can remember, I’ve offered Advertising space on this blog and waited patiently for the day when someone wanted to purchase ad space with me. That day has yet to come. And so, I followed by the example of many other blogs before me and I selected businesses that are important to me and simply gave them free ad space – indefinitely.

Now that the new year is upon us, I want to offer the same to you, oh loyal blog readers! I am offering to you exactly what is on my advertisement information page for absolutely, 100% FREE.

Statistics

Any good business owner would want to know exactly what they are getting. I mean, in this case it’s free and free advertisement isn’t to be scoffed at. But, just to make the deal a little sweeter, I’m going to clue you in on what goes on around here at SookieSlafford.com.

From January 6, 2010 – January 6, 2011 this website saw over 7,000 unique visitors. That’s 7,000 different individuals who based on their IP came to this site at least once. That’s an average of 590-ish unique hits per month!

On September 28, 2010 I posted ads for Jolly Farm, Lionheart Estate and 2ndhub.com and they have received 380, 356 and 391 clicks respectively as of this blog post. That’s over 300… and almost 400 people that could have been clicking on your ad leading them to your blog or your store! That’s about 3 months of time – meaning you’re missing out on over 100 clicks per month!

But how active is the site? How many posts do I really make? In 2010, I wrote 154 blog posts – that’s about 13 posts per month. That’s admittedly an average sounding number. But… my posting records show that I post more often now than I have in the past.
