I received my Meeroos Pre-Order today and I’m sadly not particularly enthused. After my post about the Meeroos hype, I came to find out (at least based on those who spoke with me about it) that I was pretty spot on. Seems most people are over the Meeroos trend. This makes me not really excited about having received my package today. But okay, I bought them so I may as well try to enjoy them.
It all starts with this tiny box. This is the box that gets sent to you and it contains the big chest and instructions you need in order to get started with using your Meeroos. You left-click on it and it delivers those items. Looks like there’s also some sort of necklace. Interesting. You left-click on the box and it sends you the contents.
I then rezzed out the large chest. Upon left-clicking, it opens and the “contents” begin to glow and teal sparkles float out of the chest. You “rummage” through the chest and “find” the various contents which include the nests, food and home for your Meeroos. The chest sets all of these things out for you – the only thing you have to accept via dialog is the HUD.

Okay, so I wear the HUD and I have all of these nests sitting around. I like learning breedables head on and so I don’t really bother reading the note card because that’s just my style. At this point, I’m not real enthused anyways, so if they break, well… they break. I click on all 6 of the nests that my Pre-Order came with and select “Coax” from the dialog menus. Each nest sets to a 120 second timer and soon, little eyes are peeking from their nests. Before long, out pops my first Meeroo.

…whatever most of that means
The other 5 Meeroos make their appearance and all but my first Meeroo start to run around. Crap. Lionheart Estate has a Covenant which restricts us from having our pet’s animations on when we aren’t present, but I still like to keep mine off at all times (plus I’m doing all of this on a sky platform and don’t want them falling off of it or anything). That may be another reason I’m not real enthused, realizing that I won’t ever really get to enjoy the cute factor of my pets so long as I’m resident here. I do like that I can control all 6 Meeroos at once using their home stump and tell them all to freeze!
Well, this really concludes all I’m going to blog about my Meeroos for now. I created a Fellowship of my own called Over The Fence (this will probably really piss off my ex, which isn’t my intention but it’s what I planned to call my Fellowship all along). I know a lot of us are shit outta luck on the Fellowship thing, so if you need one to join, just ask me!

These things are so cute! Even their homes and items that come with them are cute!
I don’t know where you heard people are already over them, this blog is the only place I’ve seen any mention of such a thing.
your stump automatically freezes your meeroo if no one is around (or the sim time dilation gets too low) so you can put the activity level on whatever you like and not worry about your covenant. once no one is nearby it automatically freezes them all until you return.
also, the meeroo will always stay at the height of their home, there is no danger of them falling off anything.
