In early February 2011, two artistic minds were brought together over the love of KittyCatS, a popular breedable pet in Second Life. The idea of posh, high quality items for our beloved kitties struck our fancy and we wanted to share that with the cat loving community – a group of residents who could appreciate the work, energy and love we put into our cat inspired accessories and toys.

Alia Whitfield and Sookie Slafford (hey, that’s me!) began work on Kitty Cattery about a month before Pampered Pets officially released KittyCatS onto the grid. The experience we’ve shared working together has been nothing short of amazing. Soon, we started contracting some new help and gained another business partner in Scar Ayers of [S] Scarlia Poses. I know that Kitty Cattery could never be what it is today without each of us playing our roles in the company.

Sookie Slafford

Sookie Slafford is no stranger to the breedables community. She’s well known for her year long success with Jolly Farm Bunnies & Stuff, a business dedicated to awesomely unique and fun items inspired by Ozimals bunnies. Sookie is the administrator and main author of KittyCattery.biz, a website dedicated to informing the community about the latest information, trends and even product updates. She typically has her fingers and often full hands in every product we sell and is responsible for issuing an official seal of approval. Alia Whitfield

Alia Whitfield is creative, innovative and basically the backbone of the unique touch offered in Kitty Cattery’s products. She’s responsible for all things sculpted and awesome, bringing to Kitty Cattery a fresh perspective on items for pets. While new to the breedables community, She’s quickly making a name for herself and learning the ins and out of big business. No detail is spared by her and nothing gets sold by us without her touch of perfection.

Scar Ayers

Scar Ayers is our go-to lady for HUDs and Poses. Together, Scar and Alia are the legendary creative team behind [Scarlia] Shapes & More. While Scar runs the home store these days conveniently located down the street from Kitty Cattery, she remains at-the-ready to lend her brilliance – bringing with her the sophistication and ease-of-use she’s known for in building HUDs and Poses for your use.
